PARK RAPIDS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
The purpose of the Park Rapids Community Development Corporation is to promote rehabilitation
and revitalization of the central downtown core of Park Rapids consistent with the goals and
objectives of the 2008 comprehensive plan for the City of Park Rapids.
The Park Rapids Community Development Corporation will initiate redevelopment projects that rehabilitate underutilized structures
for
commercial uses, and create business development
that enhances the vitality of the
downtown
area as a destination for shopping, entertainment, education, recreation and the arts.
As a
business entity, the Park Rapids Community Development Corporation will seek to sustain redevelopment that becomes viable
for the
long term on its
own
merits, to attract and expand follow-on investment.
